Boyd, Hope you are doing well. There are multiple ways to create a business plan as well as many resources online and even templates you can purchase for fairly affordable prices.
Most business plans will have a few keys basic principles including but not limited to:
Executive summary of your business Market analysis Structure of our business organization Description of Products and services you offer Pricing and cost models (Here is where you demonstrate how you reach an ROI) Overview of Marketing and Sales plan Financial projections Project planning worksheet with key milestones and dates.

Boyd, the business plan is simply about thinking through organizational, financial, operational, sales, marketing, etc aspects of the business and putting them on paper. It is something that everyone likely has already thought about, and if you haven't yet, it's an opportunity for you to put some thought in that area in order to be sure that you have a complete plan ready. Starting a business has its risks, more you think through different aspects, better you will be prepared and will have stronger chances of success.
